Write out Loud!

In December of 2019, I wrote my first original song called “Take a Little Listen.” I entered it into Taylor Louderman’s musical theatre songwriting contest in 2020 and was chosen as a finalist. This means that I was able to fly to New York to see a broadway performer sing my song at 54 Below. Since it was 2020, we did our first concert as a virtual jam where are all of the writers were able to sing their songs themselves. In September of 2021, I flew to New York to meet Taylor Louderman, Benjamin Rauhala, Hannah Kloepfer, Josh Collopy, and Sarah Glugatch (aka The Write Out Loud Team). I also got to meet the rest of the talented writers from that year. Of course, I also got to meet Presley Ryan (Beetlejuice on Broadway) who brought my song to life!
